The Rolls of Monmouth | |||||
|
|
Opened in 1982 it is a demanding 6733
yards of parkland, streams and lakes. The course is positioned within The
Rolls Estate, the former home of Charles Stewart Rolls, the early aviator
and motoring enthusiast, who, with Henry Royce, founded the famous
Rolls-Royce Company.
There are many magnificent trees of great age on the estate, as well as an arboretum near the Mansion; throughout the parkland there is an abundance of wildlife with deer and water fowl. Is this a golf course, or park?, this peace and tranquillity is not often found in this hectic and noisy time. You will enjoy this golf course, it could have been here a 100 years.
